Mona Marie Pedersen
Mona Marie Pedersen is a member of the Family Office in KIRKBI, working as the Head of Grant Administration for the charitable foundation Ole Kirk’s Fond. She is also involved in the LEGO® school, helping to prepare and facilitate theme-based sessions for the fifth generation of the owner family.
Walking into KIRKBI you immediately sense that it is a family-owned company with a special history, legacy and values. In KIRKBI, we are a team of employees with many different backgrounds and varied tasks, but with a common goal of supporting the Kirk Kristiansen family’s vision.
With this shared goal and our company values, I experience a culture with a high level of team spirit.

Damir Hamzić
Damir Hamzić is Head of Circular Plastics at KIRKBI Climate. Damir and his team work to build high-impact businesses focused on circular plastics.
With the fourth generation of the Kirk Kristiansen family, the aspiration to make a positive difference through our investments has only grown, which is highly motivating.
Along the way, we have built – and are still building – a dedicated team who all appreciate working for a greater purpose alongside making a financial return. We are looking into innovative and first-of-a-kind projects, which have a lot of unknown factors.
Our journey is one of learning by doing, of taking calculated risks and of learning from our successes and mistakes. It’s the LEGO way – learning through play, trial and error, until the pieces finally click into place.
Eva Bjerg Adeler
Previously Head of Labour Relations at the LEGO Group, Eva Bjerg Adeler joined the KIRKBI team six years ago and currently serves as Head of Legal, Employment Law & Compliance.
I started my career at the LEGO Group. Along the way, I have been open to and curious about the possibilities that have arisen. This is what led me to my role at KIRKBI, where I now also benefit from my network and the knowledge gained in my previous role.
The breadth of our work at KIRKBI calls for flexibility and constant growth – not just in legal expertise, but in our ability to understand and partner with diverse business areas.
I really enjoy the collaborative culture at KIRKBI. We always aim to deliver with high quality, yet we still have a lot of fun in an informal atmosphere which I appreciate very much.
